Post 8: Personal Opinions

Hi bloggers today I will give my opinion on a currently topic: the role of the media in the current social outbreak. We can start from the basis that there are media (radio, TV, newspapers and web pages) of both private and state. We could argue that the private ones do not have the obligation to show what people want or demand, but they are still considered generally open and public in terms of the information they show to the people. We know that many people get informed through the news of the open television channels, since it is one of the easiest ways to get informed. besides there is the websites and social networks. but it is between these 2 media where we see that there is a contradiction, already, almost proven, when it comes to spreading news about what is happening in Chile today. television channels often skew or omit information by giving people incomplete and edited news under a position often not very neutral and mostly inclined to a certain political sectors, which it seems to me to be a big mistake in an unidirectional medium such as TV, but today we have social networks which are a much freer and bidirectional medium in terms of information delivery, thanks to that, we have realized that TV channels often only show what they want to show you. But hey, that's just my opinion, I would like to know your opinion of a specific topic, please leave a comment.
